AWARDS AND TRAVEL GRANTS
We are pleased to advise that a number of awards and travel grants are available for abstract submitters.
Specific information about eligibility and criteria for the awards is available below.
Travel grants to support attendance at Blood 2026 are provided by HSANZ, ANZSBT and THANZ. Members may apply for all but may only accept a grant from one Society and must decalare any other funding being received during abstract submission.
Travel Assistance for Non Members
At the discretion of the Organising Committee, a small number of grants may be awarded to non-members to help cover part but not all of the annual conference attendance expenses (from complimentary registration, to a maximum grant offer of $2000). These awards are open to registrants from Australia and New Zealand and from abroad. The awards are co-funded by HSANZ, ANZSBT and THANZ. Awards are intended for those who demonstrate a need for financial assistance and for those who submit an abstract.
To be considered for the award you must:
Not be eligible to become a member of HSANZ, ANZSBT, THANZ or BMTSAA
Submit an abstract prior to 13 May and indicate application during submission
Provide a covering with your abstract submission which indicates how the grant will be of assistance to you
Applicants will be notified in late July, confirmation of acceptance will be required by early August or the applicant forfeits the grant. Applicants must be able to self fund expenses over the grant amount.
